Cook/ Manager needed for School food service program in the Miami, FL area. Monday through Friday, day shift 6.5 hours daily. No weekends or Holidays. Summers off.
Cooking experience required. K-12 food service experience a plus. Must be able to obtain the proper documentation to work in schools.
Must be comfortable working in a fast pace team setting. Leadership, and training experience needed.
ServSafe® certification is needed.
Duties to include:
Food preparation
Following recipes while adhering to NSLP guidelines.
Maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen area at all times
Observe that personal protection equipment is in use at all times.
Ordering, and inventory.
Oversee kitchen area, address staffing needs.
