Job Summary
As a Tooling Administrator, you will serve as our primary platform expert, system configurations lead, and integration specialist for our enterprise Agile delivery tools
Your primary focus will be the hands-on administration, optimization, and scaling of Digital.ai Agility (VersionOne), with secondary administrative support and workflow design in Planview AgilePlace (Leankit)
In this role, you will design, develop, and implement software solutions that safeguard data quality, enforce compliance monitoring, and enhance Agile delivery capabilities across the organization. The ideal candidate successfully bridges the gap between deep application administration and custom software development-utilizing REST APIs, scripting, and enterprise integration platforms to build automated workflows, custom notifications, and unified reporting solutions

Key Responsibilities
• Primary Tool Administration (Digital.ai Agility): Serve as the principal System Administrator. Manage global system configurations, metadata, custom fields, asset relations, project trees, schedules, and user management (including Admin Privileges and Project Roles)
• Secondary Tool Administration (Planview AgilePlace): Configure and maintain Kanban boards, card templates, custom layouts, and automated board rules within AgilePlace to support team-level visualization and flow.
• Enterprise Integration & API Development: Design, build, and maintain robust, bidirectional integrations between Digital.ai Agility, Planview AgilePlace, and other ALM tools (such as Azure DevOps) using REST APIs, webhooks, and enterprise integration middleware.
• Process Automation & Workflows: Create automated business rules, custom triggers, automated notifications, and background processes to reduce manual overhead and ensure process traceability
• Data Governance & Quality Management: Develop automated validation scripts, compliance monitoring utilities, and reporting databases to enforce data hygiene and alignment with SAFe/Agile organizational standards.
• Reporting & Analytics: Query SQL-based databases, parse JSON payloads, and collaborate with BI teams to build operational dashboards and executive metrics that track delivery health, velocity, and capacity

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Platform Expertise:
• Primary: Proven experience as a System Administrator configuring and managing Digital.ai Agility (formerly VersionOne)
• Secondary: Hands-on experience administering and structuring Planview AgilePlace (formerly LeanKit)
• Technical Integration & Development: Strong background using REST APIs, SQL queries, JavaScript, JSON, and web-based enterprise integration platforms to connect software systems.
• Automated Solutions: Demonstrated experience designing, debugging, and maintaining automated workflows, scheduled scripts, and custom notification systems
• Agile/SAFe Methodology: Solid understanding of Agile/SAFe frameworks, value streams, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices.
• Engineering Practices: Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control (e.g., Git) to support development operations.
• Problem Solving: Strong debugging, testing, and system-level troubleshooting skills to resolve end-user technical issues and API failures.
