Duties/Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping
- Lead, train, and support warehouse staff to ensure productivity and accuracy
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records using warehouse management systems
- Oversee the receiving and inspection of incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
- Ensure timely and accurate picking, packing, and shipping of orders
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and OSHA safety regulations
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
- Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and operations teams to meet organizational needs
- Assist with scheduling, task assignments, and performance monitoring of warehouse personnel
Required Skills/Abilities
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics processes
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
Education and Experience
- Required: High School Diploma/GED
- Required: Minimum 2 years of logistics warehouse experience
- Required: Current/valid Forklift certification
- Required: ICS and NIMS compliant training (e.g. ICS: 100, 200, 300, 400, 700, 800)
- Preferred: Experience in emergency management, disaster response, or large-scale logistics operations
- Preferred: Familiarity with technical, legal, or medical terminology
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs regularly
- Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and conditions
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, etc.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, as needed
