Position Highlights

  • Approximately 50/50 split between liver and kidney transplantation
  • Living donor liver and kidney transplants
  • No donor call
  • Opportunities to develop other clinical niches based on experience and interest
  • Monthly GI fellow and surgery resident rotations on the Liver Transplant Service
  • Clinical FTE negotiable based on prior experience (e.g., grant funding)
  • Faculty appointment with USF Health Morsani College of Medicine.

Training the Next Generation

Qualifications

Who We're Seeking

We are seeking a board-certified transplant surgeon to join our nationally acclaimed transplant team. This hospital-employed position includes a faculty appointment at the University of South Florida (USF) and offers a strong emphasis on clinical excellence, academic engagement, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a multi-organ transplant program
  • Interest in academic medicine and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Clinical research background preferred but not required
  • Must be board certified and eligible for unrestricted Florida medical licensure.
