Duties & Responsibilities
  • Review complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Supervise multiple tax engagements simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to tax staff and seniors
  • Identify, research, and resolve complex tax issues and communicate findings clearly to leadership and clients
  • Manage client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact for assigned engagements
  • Assist with tax planning and advisory services for a variety of industries
  • Assist the audit department with tax related matters
  • Review workpapers and ensure compliance with firm policies and quality control standards
  • Support business development activities, including client proposals and relationship building
  • Stay current on tax regulations and industry developments

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • CPA Candidate required
  • 5-7+ years of public accounting experience in tax
  • Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
  • Experience supervising and developing staff in a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with clients and team members

Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA License
  • Experience with CCH Prosystems tax software, Engagement and Document a plus

Salary Range:

$100,000-$120,000
