At Schwab, we believe clarity, integrity, and capability matter. As a Senior Manager, Offer Management (Tax Planning), you'll help define how tax‑aware planning comes to life for advisors and clients—shaping an offer that is intuitive, scalable, and impactful.

This is an individual contributor role where you'll translate complex tax, business, and market insights into a clear offer definition and actionable roadmap. You'll work closely with Business, Product, Technology, and Legal/Compliance partners to deliver solutions advisors can confidently adopt and use to improve client outcomes.

What You'll Do

You'll apply strategic, analytical, and collaborative skills to deliver results:

  • Use strategic thinking to define and evolve the tax‑aware planning offer, including the value proposition, target client and advisor segments, and end‑to‑end experience.
  • Apply analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills to identify problems to solve, size opportunities, prioritize capabilities, and own a sequenced offer roadmap.
  • Leverage customer orientation and attention to detail to understand advisor and specialist workflows and ensure the offer is intuitive, scalable, and adoptable.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to assess trends in tax‑aware investing and translate insights into offer design and positioning decisions.
  • Practice agile collaboration to align Business, Product, Technology, and Legal/Compliance partners on scope, sequencing, dependencies, and launch readiness.
  • Use clear communication and influence to create executive‑ready narratives that explain recommendations, trade‑offs, risks, and next steps.
  • Apply facilitation and adaptability to lead working sessions, define success metrics, and use data and feedback to continuously improve the offer.

What you have


Required qualifications

  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and experience defining or evolving an offer, solution, or strategy
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills, including prioritization and trade‑off decisions
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and influence without authority
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into practical advisor or client experiences
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience conducting market or competitive analysis
  • Facilitation or workshop‑leading experience
  • Customer‑centric design or workflow analysis experience
  • CFP® and/or CPA designation

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
