POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for a Senior Director or Director to perform and manage services for the University Athletic Association Business & Finance office. Responsibilities include overseeing the monthly, quarterly, and annual UAA required financial statements and reporting; and preparing quarterly and annual financial statements in conformity with regulatory requirements, NCAA compliance, and accounting principles. Leads the preparation and supporting documentation for annual audits, agreed-upon procedures, and tax returns. Oversees accounts receivables, student athlete disbursements, payroll, and general ledger management.
This position requires the incumbent to have strong analytical interpersonal skills; ability to delegate, cultivate teamwork, and develop others; detail-oriented, self-motivated, and independent thinker; work independently and as part of a collaborative team; multitask effectively; engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds; and work a non-standard work week which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
This position will be filled as a Director or Senior Director, depending on the experience and qualifications of the candidate selected. This posting will remain open until a qualified candidate is chosen.

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5 years of progressive accounting, business or financial experience
- 1 year of supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- 6+ years of progressive accounting, business or financial experience
- 3+ years of supervisory experience
- Proficiency in NetSuite, Workday, and ERP system implementation
