Job Description

Benchmark International's global headquarters in Tampa is seeking a results-driven marketing and events
management professional with experience in partnership activations, executing strategic campaigns and
events, managing client and stakeholder relationships, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives. The
ideal candidate is skilled in project management, brand activation, data analysis, and operational
execution, with a proven ability to organize complex initiatives, oversee day-to-day campaign and asset
management, and deliver engaging in-person and experiential activations that strengthen brand
awareness, customer engagement, and business growth. Success in this role requires the ability to execute
by collaborating across teams, adhering to budgets and timelines, leveraging performance insights to
optimize results, and supporting high-impact initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

The Senior Brand Activation Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the Benchmark
International Arena Naming Rights Partnership tactics and asset utilization. This includes the planning,
execution, and data capture of in-person engagement (i.e. games, events), as well as planning and
execution of larger scale activations that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue
growth.

  • Maximize the utilization of Benchmark International Arena naming rights assets and benefits.
  • Work with Strategic Partnerships, Sales teams, Account Managers, and other leadership team
    members to identify game and event attendees, plan accompanying experiences, and distribute
    tickets for all events.
  • Identify opportunities to utilize non-game related assets in unique and meaningful ways that
    presents opportunities to engage with prospects, clients and referral partners.
  • Develop and maintain event-specific playbooks and event planning tools.
  • Capture and maintain prospect, client, and referral partner arena related engagement in
    company CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the Events Coordinator for:
    • Securing Arena-related event giveaways
    • Scheduling and coordinating Arena-related community engagement initiatives that align
      with contributions and volunteer commitments made by leadership
    • Coordinating and executing Arena-related external events, such as speaking
      engagements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, creative, operations, and external
    partners) to ensure seamless Arena campaign and event delivery.
  • Oversee end-to-end campaigns and events related to the Arena, including planning, budgeting,
    timelines, execution, and post-campaign analysis.
  • Handle day-to-day engagement with Arena partners and other vendors to ensure usage of
    contracted assets and high-quality delivery of experiences.
  • Monitor campaign and event performance using KPIs and analytics tools; provide insights and
    recommendations for optimization.
  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure all activations align with brand strategy, voice, and
    customer experience standards.
  • Leverage company store and vendors to oversee co-branded merchandise, including inventory
    control and the ideation and selection of new merchandise.
  • Meet budgets and track ROI for all activation initiatives.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5-8+ years of experience in brand activation, event marketing, and/or large scala campaign
    management.
  • Proven ability to execute multi-channel campaigns and manage complex projects.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills and use of tools (e.g., MS Planner, MS
    Project Management, Monday.com)
  • Proficient with MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Excellent client communication and customer service.
  • Experience managing deliverables and relationships with vendors, external partners, and
    internal partners.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools, CRM systems, analytics platforms, and project management
    software.
  • Ability to work in the office every day as this is not a remote or hybrid position.
  • Professional dress attire is required.
  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours (8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.), including early
    mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays, as business needs require.
  • Ability to lift, transport, and set up materials and equipment weighing up to 15 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with brand activation, naming rights activation, and experiential marketing.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels and integrated campaign strategy.
  • Budget management experience with demonstrated ROI accountability.

Salary:

Expected salary for this position would be $80,000-$100,000 commensurate with experience.
