Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Account to join our Global Consolidation team within Corporate Finance. This role will work closely with our divisional accounting groups and corporate departments and directly report to the Director of Corporate Accounting. This role is responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.

Job Description:
Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Account to join our Global Consolidation team within Corporate Finance. This role will work closely with our divisional accounting groups and corporate departments and directly report to the Director of Corporate Accounting. This role is responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Monthly and Quarterly Close Procedures
- Prepare and review accurate financial statements and supporting schedules to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare, review, and post complex journal entries related to consolidations, accruals, revenue recognition and lease accounting, foreign currency translation, and royalty activity
- Perform account reconciliations and roll-forwards to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data
- Analyze financial results and provide variance explanation to leadership
- Calculate, reconcile, and process inter-company and third-party royalty invoicing in accordance with contractual agreements
- Assist with preparation and analysis of projections and budgets on monthly and quarterly basis.
- Various government report requirements
- SEC Reporting
- Collaborate with members of the Corporate Finance team in preparation footnotes and disclosures for the Company's Form 10-Q and 10-K requirements, including certain financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A disclosures
- Prepare tie-out packages for disclosures
- Compliance
- Collaborate with external auditors throughout their review/audit procedures of SEC disclosures
- Maintain SOX documentation for monthly and quarterly close procedures
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance minimum.
- Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience. Manufacturing or packaging industry experience is a plus.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across functions and levels.
- Attributes: Action-oriented, adaptable, and solutions-focused with a positive attitude and resilience in driving change.
- Technology: OneStream experience is a plus. Proficiency in MS Office and financial systems; experience in multi-currency environments.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and strategic thinking skills.
