Salesforce Business Analyst - Energy & Utilities Cloud

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst with a strong understanding of Salesforce Platform Core Development, Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud, and Salesforce AgentForce. The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and Salesforce technical teams, ensuring business requirements are accurately captured, translated into functional solutions, and delivered in alignment with Salesforce best practices and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders across the Energy & Utilities domain to gather, analyze, clarify, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for Salesforce development teams.
• Work closely with Salesforce developers and architects to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with Salesforce platform capabilities.
• Support implementation and customization of Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud to streamline industry-specific processes.
• Participate in the design, configuration, and adoption of Salesforce AgentForce functionalities to enhance agent workflows and automation.
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements leveraging Salesforce features to improve efficiency and user experience.
• Assist in testing activities including functional testing, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including process flows, data models, use cases, and requirement traceability.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and ongoing communication between technical and non-technical teams.
• Monitor project progress and assist in resolving issues, risks, and dependencies.
• Stay current with Salesforce platform releases, Energy & Utilities Cloud enhancements, and AgentForce best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst on Salesforce implementations or enhancements.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce Platform Core Development concepts.
• Hands-on knowledge of Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud business processes, data models, and capabilities.
• Experience or working knowledge of Salesforce AgentForce and its business use cases.
• Expertise in gathering, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security concepts.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including writing user stories and managing backlogs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
