Role Overview
As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering safe and effective radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist. You'll administer treatments according to established standards, maintain accurate patient treatment records, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and support high-quality patient care throughout the treatment process.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed
- Follow established standards, protocols, and safety practices
- Maintain accurate treatment and medical records
- Assist with patient setup, positioning, and verification
- Operate treatment machines and related equipment
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and care teams
- Support workflow, room preparation, and patient throughput
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education - Required
- Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technical Program or equivalent
Education - Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a related scientific field
- State of Florida Radiation Therapy License
- ARRT Certification - Radiologic Technologists
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Radiation therapy experience preferred
