Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and innovative Physical Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehabilitation team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will implement and make recommendations for updates to physical therapy programs for a diverse population of residents. Responsibilities:

• Perform screenings and evaluations of residents with physical functioning impairments and other conditions, developing and implementing appropriate Physical Therapy plans of care while adhering to federal and state regulations and clinical standards.
• Deliver skilled physical therapy services with the appropriate medically necessary interventions to improve, maintain or prevent decline with their physical functions.
• Complete comprehensive documentation for resident care including progress notes, care plans, standardized test, discharge summaries, and billing.
• Provide consultation and education to residents, families, caregivers, and others to promote quality care and resident outcomes.

Requirements:

• Must have or be eligible for Florida Physical Therapy Assistant license
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
• Minimum of associate degree in physical therapy assistant
• All experience levels considered
