Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, developing, and implementing physical therapy programs and activities
- Participate in discharge planning, resident assessment, and restorative programs
- Provide direct patient care, including ambulatory training and education on medical appliances
- Document changes and follow up on patient conditions
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment
Requirements:
- Graduate of a School of Physical Therapy Assistant
- Minimum of three months recent experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant working in a nursing home environment preferred
- State of Florida Physical Therapy Assistant License
- CPR Certification
