Summary
This role supports the Scheduling department by managing faxed prescriptions for upcoming or pending radiology exams. The position focuses on reviewing, categorizing, and routing incoming faxes to ensure accurate and timely scheduling support. The role involves frequent interaction with internal teams, physician offices, and patients.
Essential Functions
• Review incoming faxes received through the imaging fax server
• Categorize faxes by patient name, referring physician, and fax type
• Assign categorized faxes to the appropriate mailbox
• Print patient and physician communications from the imaging website
• Perform additional assigned duties as required
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Work Experience and Additional Information
Minimum of 1 years experience in an office setting
Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Excellent Verbal and written communication skill
• Ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent telephone etiquette and customer communication skill
• Basic organizational skill
• Attention to detail
