Our client is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator / Medical Assistant (PCC/MA) to support both clinical and administrative operations across our East Coast clinics. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, adaptable, and passionate about delivering excellent patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The Position:

We are currently seeking an experienced PCC/MA to assist with front office coordination, patient intake, scheduling, rooming, vitals, provider support, and clinic flow. This position combines administrative and clinical responsibilities to help ensure efficient operations, accurate documentation, and a positive patient experience. The selected candidate will primarily support the West Palm Beach clinic and may assist nearby clinic locations as needed for coverage.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in patients professionally
  • Complete patient intake, medical history, and consent documentation
  • Schedule appointments, follow-ups, and procedures
  • Support efficient patient flow throughout the clinic day
  • Room patients and obtain vital signs
  • Assist providers during exams and procedures
  • Prepare and clean exam rooms and equipment
  • Monitor and maintain medical supplies and inventory
  • Maintain accurate patient records in the EHR
  • Assist with chart preparation and order entry
  • Coordinate recommendations and documentation with Case Management
  • Provide excellent patient service and address patient questions
  • Support billing accuracy through proper documentation and charge entry
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and a clean, organized workspace

Requirements:

  • Monday - Friday schedule (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Medical Assistant certification required
  • Phlebotomy experience required
  • 1-3 years of healthcare experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Comfortable balancing clinical and administrative responsibilities
  • Ability to travel between clinic locations as needed
  • Spanish speaking preferred
  • Must meet Florida AHCA background screening requirements
