The Paramedic provides technical assistance and performs selected acts, including the administration of treatments, under the supervision of the ER Physician and/or Registered Nurse. The Paramedic is accountable for his/her own actions. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital. Essential Functions <ul><li>Ensure patient and personal safety throughout care procedures. </li><li>Conducts patient re-assessments as necessary. </li><li>Establishes IV access and administers normal saline. </li><li>Interprets ECG readings accurately. </li><li>Administers medication. </li></ul> Qualifications <ul><li>Graduate of an accredited Paramedic Program</li><li>Active Florida Paramedic license</li><li>Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)</li></ul>
