Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in Florida or New York, in good standing (or willingness to obtain admission promptly)
- 3-5 years of substantive transactional real estate experience (either real estate finance or commercial real estate), preferably with a large law firm (boutique firm experience considered)
- Experienced in representing lenders and borrowers, managing acquisitions and dispositions, overseeing real estate development, and navigating land use and zoning matters.
- Being familiar with standard due diligence review and analysis-covering title insurance, surveys, corporate formation documents, SNDAs, and construction documentation-is a definite plus.
- Strong oral advocacy, research, and client communication skills
- Ability to manage matters efficiently and independently
- Professionalism: Client-service oriented, collaborative, and committed to excellence
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, and finance transactions
- Advise clients oncommercial real estate financing structures
- Draft, negotiate, and review finance documentation, contracts and related real estate documents
- Manage matters independently and as part of larger teams, ensuring timely and efficient client service
- Communicate directly with clients, providing strategic, business-focused guidance
- Collaborate with attorneys across offices and practice groups to deliver integrated legal solutions

Compensation & Benefits
- Expected annual base salary range of $235,000-$365,000, as determined by experience and market factors
- Eligibility for a discretionary bonus
