The Librarian position at Ransom Everglades School is a full-time staff position reporting to the Director of Libraries. This position is based on the Middle School campus and supports the Middle and Upper School libraries.

Essential Duties Responsibilities:
- Teach research and digital and information literacy skills to middle school students.
- Collaborate with library staff to develop and manage the middle school print and digital collections and resources.
- Initiate library programming and outreach that aligns with school values.
- Performing typical library tasks including, but not limited to, cataloging and processing of materials, inventorying, weeding, collection evaluation, and creation of topical displays.
- Liaise with faculty to develop print and digital resources to support the curriculum.
- Maintain and update current LibGuides and create new ones as required.
- Manage and evaluate MS library subscriptions.
- Assist users with research and reference questions.
- Prepare periodic library communication to the community.
- Contribute to the maintenance of the library webpage and related digital platforms.
- Stay abreast of products and developments in digital resource management and provide related instruction to faculty and students.
- Cross-train in library duties on both campuses.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Master's degree from an ALA-accredited library and information science program.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in library management systems; Atrium and LibGuides preferred.
- Proficiency with academic databases.
- Previous library experience; school library experience (preferred).

- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to travel between campuses.
