Job Description

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Completes work orders, PM sheets, logs and other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings (e.g., blueprints, electrical/mechanical schematics) and diagnostic tools (e.g., multi-meter, laptop)
  • Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment (material handling equipment, forklifts, dock equipment and facility equipment) according to safety and quality procedures.
  • Completes Work Orders, Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Repairs and other written or computer-based documents assigned from Leadership.
  • Ability to learn and utilize software to include CMMS Systems, Graphical Interfaces and other applicable programs.
  • Adheres to all Department and Company Standards, Operating Procedures and Safety Requirements.
  • Works closely with other Technicians to ensure proper operation of Facility related equipment through means of mechanical/Electrical trouble-shooting.
  • Performs Preventative Maintenance and Repairs on Conveyor equipment, Manufacturing Equipment, Grounds, Building equipment and PIT (Powered Industrial Truck).
  • Ability to work at heights from ladders and aerial lifts.
  • Ability to work on the exterior of the Fulfillment Center and within a non-climate controlled environment.
  • Ability to complete additional task and request as needed from the sites Leadership Team.

  • Plumbing and all related fixtures (urinals, toilets, sinks, etc.)
  • Adheres to all department and company standards, operating procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Light construction work (drywall, framing, painting, etc.)
  • Related experience/education in material handling equipment, mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance and/or installation is required.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • The ability to work in a warehouse home team environment with a winning set of communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for 8-10 hours depending on the daily work volume.
  • Have your game on to work a shift with overtime, as necessary (i.e., flexible hours & days)
  • Familiarity with Professional Sports Leagues and Teams is a plus.
  • Other responsibilities as required.
    • Proficiency in MS Office
    • Ability to work independently in the absence of Supervisors.
    • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
    • Must possess a valid driver's license.
    • Ability to work flexible hours.
    • Ability to work extra hours and extra shifts.
