Job Description
Execute end to end client events in our Miami office
As an Associate Event Planner within our Latin America J.P. Morgan Private Bank Events team, you will execute client events end-to-end, from concept and planning through onsite delivery and post-event reporting. You will manage multiple programs simultaneously (large-scale events, intimate dinners/round tables, and sports & entertainment allocations) while ensuring brand-standard experiences, disciplined budget and process execution, and high-quality event data and ROI reporting through the firm's events management platform. Partnering closely with the Global Events Team, bankers, product partners, and senior management, you will help deliver distinctive client experiences that support our business strategies and deepen client relationships. This high-pressure role requires strong communication skills, accuracy, long hours, extensive regional travel, and robust data management capabilities. Based in Miami, this position reports to the Head of Latin America Private Bank Events.

Job Responsibilities:
- Support market event strategy by translating business objectives into event plans and timelines.
- Manage end-to-end logistics (venues, catering, AV, travel, materials) and maintain detailed project plans across concurrent events.
- Own event setup and data integrity in the events management platform, including RSVP management, attendee communications, and post-event ROI reporting.
- Track budgets and managing event-related operational processes (POs, contracts, invoices, vendor onboarding) in line with required controls.
- Build and deploy client communications (invites, reminders, confirmations, thank-you notes) using approved templates and channels.
- Coordinate guest experience details (invitation lists, seating, badges, onsite check-in/registration).
- Lead onsite execution support (room setup, vendor management, speaker support, AV and presentation checks).
- Produce concise pre- and post-event materials (briefing notes, status updates, attendance/feedback/cost summaries, lessons learned).
- Contribute to process improvements and special projects, with an emphasis on efficiency and consistency across the market.
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- 6+ years of hands-on event planning experience (multi-event, high-touch client environment).
- Fluency in Portuguese and or Spanish (spoken and written) required.
- Solid project management experience and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams with strong attention to detail and sound judgment with confidential information.
- Familiarity with key Latin America cities/venues/vendors and cultural nuances.
- Willingness to travel internationally and support occasional extended hours during peak event periods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
- Financial services experience .
