This role provides clinical and operational leadership for Interventional Bronchoscopy services across Endoscopy and Operating Room settings. The role supports patient access, procedural flow, and safety by coordinating daily operations, assigning work based on acuity and procedural needs, and serving as the primary point of contact for Respiratory Care, Endoscopy, and OR teams during scheduled procedures. Responsibilities include functional oversight of staff during procedures, coordination of equipment and scheduling, and facilitation of intra- and interdepartmental communication. The role also serves as a key liaison with Interventional Pulmonology, Lung Transplant, Oncology, and the Cancer Institute to support efficient, high-quality care delivery across all service lines utilizing interventional bronchoscopy, in alignment with Tampa General Hospital's mission, vision, and values.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting advances or interventional bronchoscopy procedures in a high acuity procedural, critical care, or surgical environment, inclusive of management of complex airways, mechanical ventilation, and high risk patients.

Education

  • Bachelor's in Cardiopulmonary, OR Respiratory

License

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from FL DOH
