Child Supervision and Care:
Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times, including during indoor and outdoor activities.
Assist with feeding, diapering, toileting, and other hygiene-related needs for infants and toddlers.
Monitor children's behavior and intervene as necessary to promote positive interactions and a safe environment.
Respond promptly and sensitively to children's needs.
Instructional Support:
Assist the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate activities and lesson plans that promote development in physical, social-emotional, cognitive, and language domains aligned to the Florida Early Learning Developmental Standards.
Foster children's independence and problem-solving skills through play and guided activities.
Prepare and organize materials for activities under the direction of the lead teacher.
Environment and Classroom Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment, including sanitizing toys, furniture, and equipment as required.
Set up and clean up activity areas, ensuring all materials are age-appropriate and in good condition.
Support the implementation of the childcare center's policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety.
Communication and Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff to address individual needs of children.
Communicate effectively with families about their child's progress and daily activities, as directed by the lead teacher.
Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions to stay informed about best practices in early childhood education.
