Individual Giving Manager, Affiliate Groups

Position Overview: The Individual Giving Manager, Affiliate Groups is responsible for identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of individuals supporting PAMM through membership of the museum's affiliate groups. The Individual Giving Manager will manage an active donor and prospect list while building a pipeline of potential new donors. This position will also participate in the planning, volunteer management and logistical support of annual fundraising events including KIDS JAMM at PAMM, Art + Soul, and the IWC Luncheon and Spring Tea.

Requirements

Required Degree: Bachelor's Degree/4-Year Degree
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is required;
  • Minimum three years' relevant experience in fundraising and/or work experience in a nonprofit agency;
  • Two or more years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising with a proven track record of success in fundraising initiatives, personal solicitations, and collaborations with faculty and/or staff;
  • A track record of building long-term donor relationships;
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of the fundraising function from managing prospective donors and reporting to superiors to coordinating with fellow fundraisers;
  • Solid problem-solving skills, creativity, and willingness to take an innovative approach in order to achieve goals;
  • Computer literacy required; extensive experience in Word, Excel, email programs and Customer Relations management software;
  • Ability and willingness to travel as well as to work outside the normal workday hours.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Spanish a plus.

Physical Demands:
  • Walk, bend, lift (up to 15 pounds) files, office supplies an electronic equipment.
  • Finger dexterity to pick up paper and use computer keyboard.
  • Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
  • Ability to hear in normal tones including telephone and face-to-face conversation.
