Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000 - $160,000 per year

Schedule: Monday to Friday – Day shifts, some projects may require evening shift. (Weekends as needed scheduled with notice)

Key Responsibilities of the General Superintendent include:

  • Oversee and coordinate the installation of sheet metal systems in commercial construction projects
  • Manage a team of sheet metal mechanics
  • Ensure that work is completed on time and within budget
  • Maintain the highest quality standards in the work performed
  • Review and approve shop drawings and submittals
  • Works with pre-construction, project management, and operations to forecast manpower needs and schedule accordingly
  • Coordinate with other trades and contractors to ensure seamless integration of sheet metal systems
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Keep accurate records of progress and completion of projects

Qualified candidates will have:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. (Preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience as a sheet metal superintendent or similar role in commercial construction
  • Strong knowledge of sheet metal installation and fabrication techniques
  • Strong knowledge of sheet metal codes and regulations
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team of other mechanics
  • Must have a valid driver's license
