Job Summary
Assesses participants' needs exercise and conditioning response; and carries out
educational activities to promote positive lifestyle change to support Broward Health
Fitness Center Cardiopulmonary Rehab and overall wellness for the community and
employees.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
A. Education (or equivalent years of experience):
Required for consideration: Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science OR bachelor's degree in health related field with 2 years' experience.
B. Experience (or equivalent education):
Required for consideration: No experience required for those with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. 2 years of related experience required with those with a bachelor's degree in a health-related field.
C. Certification/Registration
Required for consideration: NSCA ACSM AFAA ACE or NASM (must have at least one of these.)
E. Special Training
Required for consideration: BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross (must be through one of these two providers. No other providers will be accepted.)
