Expanded Learning Coordinator

PublishedPublished: 9/2/2026
School Bell Rings. Your Impact Begins.

Some kids need more than a classroom.

They need a mentor who believes in them. A safe place after school. Opportunities to explore new interests. Someone willing to help them dream bigger.

At Children's Home Society of Florida (CHS), we're creating those opportunities every day by helping children and families build stronger futures through our Community Impact Model. Our mission is Building Bridges to Success for Children, and we're looking for an Expanded Learning Coordinator who wants to make a difference where it matters most.

What Makes This Role Special?

This isn't your typical coordinator position.

You'll be at the heart of a Community Partnership School, coordinating innovative before-school, after-school, summer, enrichment, and recreational programs that help children learn, grow, and thrive.

Every partnership you build. Every volunteer you recruit. Every enrichment activity you coordinate.

Could change the trajectory of a child's life.

A Day in the Life

As the Expanded Learning Coordinator, you might:

Coordinate an art or STEM enrichment program

Partner with teachers and community organizations to create learning opportunities

Recruit volunteers who want to give back

Organize engaging activities that keep students involved and excited

Coordinate transportation and program logistics

Track attendance, outcomes, and success stories

Plan special events that bring families, schools, and communities together

No two days are exactly alike, but every day has purpose.
