The Miami Job Corps Center is seeking a dependable, safety-focused, and student-centered Driver to join our team. This position plays an important role in providing safe and reliable transportation for students while helping maintain a secure, positive, and supportive Center environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Driver, you will:
- Provide safe and reliable transportation services for students as required.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and promptly report safety concerns or maintenance needs.
- Maintain required vehicle records and documentation in accordance with DOL and Company requirements.
- Schedule and deliver vehicles for preventive maintenance and necessary repairs.
- Assist the Safety & Security Department in maintaining a safe and secure environment for students and staff.
- Conduct routine safety inspections, security tours, and assessments of Center facilities and equipment.
- Assist with accident and incident investigations, documentation, and required reports.
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations and requests.
- Assist with visitor control, student accountability, and supervision.
- Support residential, recreation, transportation, and other Center operations as needed.
- Maintain the security and cleanliness of Center facilities, property, and assigned vehicles.
- Work collaboratively with staff across departments to ensure students receive effective supervision and quality services.
- Serve as a positive role model by mentoring students and reinforcing Career Success Standards.
- Treat students with respect and courtesy while maintaining appropriate expectations for accountability and behavior.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Florida Driver's License that is maintained throughout employment.
- Ability to meet Company insurability requirements.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with students and staff.
Preferred:
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Previous experience working with youth.
- Advanced education or degree.
