- Provides administrative support to Operations in the administration of claims processing
- Maintains administrative control of records all company claims
- Prepares and distributes memos and reports as required
- Compiles and maintains case and claim files with appropriate documentation and internal/ external communications (employees/ clients and insurance providers) to control losses
- Supports coordination of return-to-work efforts
- Initiates communication and collaborates with employees/ clients and insurance providers to control losses as a result of property damage
- Administers certain aspects employer insurance programs (auto, liability, GL, workers compensation) to include, but not limited to obtaining and reviewing documents, such as photographs, police reports, damage estimates, contracts, subcontracts, time sheets, MOT plans, interrogatories and preparing for submission to the insurance provider and/ or attorney. and preparing reports for submission to the insurance provider
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- Excellent computer knowledge and efficiency; specific mastery of Microsoft Office suite
- Related experience DOT or general safety processes
- Ability to prioritize tasks in order to achieve goals and meet deadlines
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possess advanced interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels in the organization
- Attention to detail and possess excellent follow-through skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Bilingual preferred, but not required
