Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service
- Greet and engage customers with a positive, friendly attitude.
- Accurately take and enter orders into the point-of-sale system.
- Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations.
- Drink & Food Preparation
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to Ellianos standards.
- Maintain consistency in drink quality, speed, and presentation.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures when preparing pastries and snacks.
- Store Operations
- Operate cash register, handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Keep the coffee bar, workstations, and customer areas clean and organized.
- Restock supplies and maintain inventory as needed.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness guidelines.
- Teamwork
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth store operations.
- Support new team member training and uphold Ellianos standards.
- Communicate effectively with shift leaders and management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Prior barista, food service, or retail experience a plus - but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to teamwork.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions as needed.
