Acute Care Surgery Clinician - Trauma Administration
The Acute Care Surgery Clinician supports the coordination of nursing and support services for patients across both hospital and clinic settings. This role collaborates with care teams to ensure adherence to program standards and provides clinical and systems oversight for patients at TGH. The ACS Clinician helps ensure the delivery of efficient, high-quality care and performs all responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.

- Review and abstract relevant clinical data from the electronic medical record for quality monitoring and reporting
- Conduct post-discharge follow-up with the patients as part of continuity of care
- Coordinate program-related quality activities and ensure timely follow-up on quality metrics and outcomes
- Collaborate with clinical and operation leadeshipt to support performance improvement initatives
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds for quality improvement
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school
- BSN required
- Active Florida RN license or multistate license
- Minimum of two (2) - three (3) years of direct patient care experience in an acute care setting with focus in trauma, surgical and/or critical care
- Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) or
- Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) or
- Certified Medical Surgical Registered Nurse or
- Trauma Certified Registered Nurse
