Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Account Manager to join our landscaping business. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, building strong relationships, and driving customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, coordinate project execution, and ensure the successful delivery of landscaping services that meet or exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Client Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, developing and nurturing strong relationships.
    • Understand client needs, preferences, and goals, and align our services to meet their requirements.
    • Conduct regular meetings with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
    • Actively seek client feedback and take proactive measures to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
  2. Account Management:
    • Oversee the entire lifecycle of client projects, from initial consultation to completion.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, such as designers, technicians, and landscapers, to ensure projects are executed smoothly.
    • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to deadlines and financial targets.
    • Monitor project progress, resolve any issues, and communicate updates to clients and stakeholders.
  3. Customer Service and Support:
    • Provide exceptional customer service, promptly responding to client inquiries, requests, and concerns.
    • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.
    • Address any service-related issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
    • Strive to exceed customer expectations and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
  4. Business Development and Growth:
    • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to existing clients.
    • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies to expand the client base.
    • Attend industry events, networking functions, and trade shows to build relationships and generate leads.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to provide valuable insights.
  5. Financial Management:
    • Collaborate with the accounting team to create accurate project estimates and proposals.
    • Monitor project costs and budgets, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
    • Review and approve client invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely billing.
    • Address any billing disputes or discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.
  6. Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, design, and operations, to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
    • Provide necessary project details and specifications to internal teams and coordinate their efforts.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication.


Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is a plus
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in account management or a similar client-facing role in the landscaping or related industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Solid understanding of landscaping principles, materials, and practices.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills to address client needs and resolve issues.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and achieve targets.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to customer satisfaction and business growth.
  • Have a valid drivers license
